Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Marsala

16 ounce chicken breasts
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp olive oil
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 tsp flour
1/4 cup Marsala wine
1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Chicken Marsala

  1. sprinkle chicken w/ salt and pepper

  2. heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over med-high heat

  3. Add chicken and cook through about 3 minutes on each side.

  4. Transfer chicken to a platter to keep warm.

  5. Add mushrooms to skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until browned, about 3 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle mushrooms with flour, stirring to blend. Add the Marsala and broth; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.

  7. Spoon sauce over chicken.
