Creamy Chicken dish in Marsala wine sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Marsala

1 lb chicken
1/2 cup mushrooms
2 small onions
1 cup of cream
1 cup of marsala
1 tablespoon of flour
2 tablespoons of butter

Recipe Directions for Chicken Marsala

  1. Brown chicken

  2. Add Marsala, onions, herbs and mushrooms and simmer at a low heat for 35minutes.

  3. In a new pan, melt butter and mix flour into a paste.

  4. Add 1/2 cup of stock from simmered chicken slowly to the paste, add a splash of marsala to the paste.

  5. Slowly add the cream into the paste until it becomes a cream...add a dash of salt and pepper.

  6. Drain the remainder stock away from the chicken and replace with cream sauce. Fold into chicken and allow to simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes then serve.
