Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Marsala

18 oz chicken breasts, boneless, skinless (3)
2 tbs flour
2 tbs butter
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
8 oz cooking wine (Marsala)
1/4 cup water
1 tbs dried parsley
1/4 tsp rosemary
2 tsp corn starch

Recipe Directions for Chicken Marsala

  1. Pound chicken thin. Dredge both sides lightly in flour.

  2. Melt butter in skillet and saute mushrooms until browned (10 min). Remove from pan and set aside.

  3. Add meat to skillet and cook through, 4 min. each side. Remove to serving platter.

  4. Return mushrooms to pan. Stir in marsala, water, spices. Heat. If too thin, add cornstarch dissolved in a bit of water and heat until thickened.

  5. Pour over meat and serve.
