2 lb of fresh chicken liver 1 onions 3-4 carrots 4 oz of unsalted butter 2-3 tablespoons of cognac Black pepper Bay leaves (5) Salt to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Liver Pate with carrots

0.25 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Liver, All Classes
0.13 cup slices Carrots
1 tbsp chopped Onions
0.05 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Chicken Liver Pate with carrots

  1. Skin and chop onions; warm up a deep frying pan with 2-3 tablespoons; add chopped onions and fry them over moderate heat until soft and yellow in color (12-15 mins).

  2. Increase heat to moderate high and add all chicken livers.

  3. Add bay leaves, whole peppercorns, salt.

  4. Then almoust done add 2-3 tablespoons of cognac.

  5. Boil carrots.

  6. Grind skillet content and carrots together in meat mincer.

  7. Mix pate.
