Chiken Liver is a good alternative to lamb meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Liver from Olga's Healthy Choice

100 g chicken livers
1/4 tbsp olive oil
20 g onion
5 g garlic
5 g Cake Highland Whisky Seasonal
20 g flour
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
1 pinch of chili pepper

Recipe Directions for Chicken Liver from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. Clean livers and place in a bowl adding one tsp flour.

  2. Saute all ingredients chopped (except livers) in pan with olive oil about two-three mintues. Add livers and continue to saute 5 minutes more on medium heat then add whisky (my favoroute is Creme de Cassis de Bourgougne). Then add 2 tbls of water. Simmer 20 minutes more.

  3. Then you can serve with Cabbage Salad with red apples and raisins.
