Chicken tomato bechamel simmered with layers of pasta

Recipe Ingredients for chicken lasagne

1 onion
2 tbs olive oil
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp thyme
1 1/2 lbs chicken breast
28 oz can tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
1 cup chicken broth
20 oz skimmed milk
4 oz mushrooms
2 tbs butter
2 tbs flour
8 oz cream cheese
4 oz mozzarella

Recipe Directions for chicken lasagne

  1. heat oil in pan add onion and garlic oregano and thyme. Add broth and reduce. Add tomatoes, simmer 5 mins then add cooked chicken. Simmer for 10 mins.

  2. Meanwhile make a bechamel sauce, add mushrooms.

  3. Layer chicken/tomato sauce with pasta and bechamel sauce.

  4. Cook in oven at 375 25 mins.
