Uses whole chicken pieces, serves 10

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken a la King

2 lb Chicken, Thigh, Meat Only
2 tbsp Canola Oil
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tbsp rosemary
1 tbsp garlic
3 cups milk
2 cups fat free yogurt
1/2 cup white wine
1 cup mushrooms
1/2 cup pimento

Recipe Directions for Chicken a la King

  1. Remove skin from chicken pieces

  2. heat oil in a dutch oven with garlic, onion and chicken stock cubes.

  3. when chicken is browned and cooked, add mushrooms. Cook 5 mn longer

  4. add 2 cups of milk to the pot

  5. with the remaining 1 cup of milk, add 1/4 cup flour and pour into pot. Cook until bubbly again.

  6. Add yogurt and white wine. Heat through, but do not boil again.

  7. Serve over rice
