Spicy Chicken with Ginger in a Tomato sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Karahi

3 medium onions
3 medium tomatoes
400 g chicken pieces
1 tbsp ginger
3 tbsp corn oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp red chili powder

Recipe Directions for Chicken Karahi

  1. Fry the chicken in the oil until no longer pink on all sides

  2. add onion, ginger and tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes

  3. Add spices

  4. Cover at medium low heat until chicken is tender

  5. Cook on high heat uncovered until the water evaporates and oil is visible
