Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Herbed Rice Casserole

5 cap Mushrooms
0.75 cup, diced Celery
0.75 cup, chopped Onions
0.25 cup Butter
1/4 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
1 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
16 oz Breast Tenderloins
6 serving Chicken Broth
0.5 cup Chopped Pecans

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Herbed Rice Casserole

In a large skillet cook mushrooms, celery, and onion in hot butter over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in basil and pepper. Combine mushroom mixture, cooked rice, and cooked chicken. Add chicken broth to moisten, tossing gently. Spoon chicken mixture into a 5- to 6- quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low- heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Just before serving, gently stir in nuts.
