My favorite chicken casserole; the only one my husband will eat. You can use Pepperidge Farm stuffing and it might be a little lower in sodium...use the fat free cream of chicken soup because using regular makes the goop too thick

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken "Goop" Casserole

2 1/4 oz. dried beef
21 oz. 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
8 oz stove top stuffing
1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Recipe Directions for Chicken "Goop" Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Spray casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray

  3. Rinse dried beef; tear into shreds and put half of the shreds and put in bottom of dish

  4. Put chicken breasts in dish (you can cut them into smaller pieces and they will cook a little faster); put the other half of the dried beef shreds on top of the chicken

  5. Coat chicken with cream of chicken soup

  6. Top with stuffing mix and spread evenly

  7. Cover with foil and bake 45 min.-1 hour, depending on size of chicken breasts
