Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Georgio

2 sprays Pam
177 g chicken breasts
331 g onion
3 tsp garlic
2 c mushrooms
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 c water
1 c frozen peas
1 c 2% milk
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 c flour

Recipe Directions for Chicken Georgio

  1. Spray medium cooking pot with Pam and set burner on medium

  2. Defrost chicken and cut into 1/4 inch cubes, add to pot

  3. Cut onion in half then slice lengthwise, add to pot.

  4. Cook onions and chicken until chicken is cooked and onions are translucent.

  5. Add garlic and stir frequently so that garlic does not burn.

  6. Drain 2 small cans of mushrooms and add to pot.

  7. Add 3 bouillon cubes to one cup water and microwave for 2 minutes to dissolve.

  8. Pour over meat and vegetables and continue to cook.

  9. Add frozen peas and allow to come to boil.

  10. Make a slurry with flour and milk; add to pot stirring frequently to prevent sticking.

  11. Add pepper after sauce has thickened.

  12. Ladle over thin spaghetti or rice for dinner.
