Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Fried Rice

16 oz chicken breast
1 cups dry brown rice
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup carrots
1/4 cup egg beater
2 tbsp soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Chicken Fried Rice

  1. Mostly cook the chicken, then cut it up and set aside.

  2. Add a tbsp butter (or you can use sesame oil, but I didn't have any on hand) in pan and mix it with the residue from the chicken

  3. Pour in egg and carrots and scramble a bit, then toss in the chicken and rice. Mix it up!

  4. Pour in soy sauce to taste, turn up the heat and flatten it all out in the pan. Flip, flatten, and repeat a few times til it's a little crispy.

  5. This isn't the best version ever... But I wanted to save it so I could modify it and re-add it and stuff.
