Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Fettucini

2 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken) Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
6 tbsp Butter
4 clove Garlic
1 box Fettuccine Dry
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.33 cup White Flour, Unbleached
1 tbsp Salt, Table
0.75 tsp Pepper, White
4 cup Cream, Fluid, Half And Half
2 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
0.5 cup Cream, Sour, Cultured

Recipe Directions for Chicken Fettucini

  1. Cook chicken just until no longer pink inside. Set aside.

  2. Saute butter, garlic and onion until onion is translucent.

  3. Add flour and salt and pepper, and stir until it forms a paste.

  4. Gradually add in half and half, stirring after each addition until smooth. Cook until it thickens.

  5. Add parmesan and take off heat, stirring to melt cheese.

  6. Just before serving, add in sour cream, and mix with noodles.
