Chicken Etouffee Recipe

Makes 8 servings



coat a large skillett with pam, place over medium heat til hot. Add vegis and saute till tender. Remove from skillett and set aside. place margarine and flour in skillett, cook over low heat for approx 5 min, until nixture is copper in color. Return vegis, chicken and next 6 ingredients to skillet simmer 2 minutes or until heated thru. Serve over hot rice

Recipe Ingredients for chicken etouffee

1 large onion chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 cups chicken breast, cooked and chopped
4 tbsp margarine
4 tbsp flour
1 1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp chicken boullion
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
2 cups cooked parboiled rice
