Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Dumplings Skillet

1 tablespoon olive oil
4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless (about 1 1/4 lb)
2 2/3 cup (2 cans at 10 3/4 oz each) 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup, condensed
2 cups (1 lb bag) frozen stir-fry vegetables
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup Bisquick mix, reduced fat
1/3 cup milk, 2% reduced fat
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Dumplings Skillet

  1. In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in oil about 5 minutes, turning once, until chicken begins to brown.

  2. Stir in soup, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and frozen vegetables. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.

  3. In small bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, and tarragon until soft dough forms. Drop 4 spoonfuls onto boiling chicken mixture. Reduce heat. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes.

  4. Makes about 2 1/2 cup per serving.
