boiled chicken w/ broth; fat skimmed off. dumplings made w/ bisquick

Recipe Ingredients for chicken & dumplings

2 1/3 cups bisquick
2/3 cup milk, fat free
8 cups water
5 cups chicken thighs, boiled
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for chicken & dumplings

  1. boil chicken, skim fat off broth

  2. bring broth to boil. add salt, pepper, garlic to taste

  3. mix 2 1/4 cups bisquick w/ 2/3 cup ff milk in a bowl.

  4. drop small spoonfuls of bisquick mix in boiling water.

  5. boil 10 minutes, stir frequently

  6. reduce heat, cook 10-15 more minutes, stirring frequently.

  7. put on low heat, cover, and simmer until ready to eat.
