Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Dumplings

2 pound whole chicken
1032 g Homestyle Biscuits
2 quarts water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 can chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Dumplings

  1. precook chicken in water

  2. season to taste

  3. let chicken cool and then discard bones and skin

  4. take each biscuit and cut into 8th's pre roll all

  5. add chicken broth to water and start a hard boil

  6. put biscuits in water, stir slightly, and let boil for 5 min.

  7. use cornstarch to thicken

  8. when dumplings are done pull from heat and add chicken

  9. stir and serve
