Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Dumplings

1 1/2 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
2 cups carrots, sliced
3 stalks celery, diced
1 pound red potatoes, small
1 medium onion, chopped
32 ounces chicken broth
32 ounces vegetable broth
2 cups bisquick
1/2 cup water
2 tsp parsley flakes

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Dumplings

  1. Place chicken and vegetables in 6-quart slow cooker with broth.

  2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 9 to 10 hours.

  3. Increase heat setting to high. Stir together baking mix, water and parsley in medium bowl. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto hot chicken mixture.

  4. Cover and cook 45 to 50 minutes or until dumplings are dry in center.
