Homemade chicken soup w/ tube biscuit dumplings

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and dumpling soup

9 oz chicken breasts
2 carrots
4 c water
2 celery stalks
1 onion
3 cans chicken broth
1 biscuits
1 salt
1 pepper
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp sage
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1 tbs garlic salt
2 tbsp dry chicken boullion
2 tbsp flour
2 c whole milk

Recipe Directions for Chicken and dumpling soup

  1. Brown chicken in a large pot.

  2. Add vegetables and spices, cover with water, boil for one half hr.

  3. Remove chicken and chop into bite size peices. Return to pot.

  4. Mix milk w/ flour, then add to pot. Taste and add dry boullion as needed. Bring to boil.

  5. Flatten biscuits to about 1/8" cut into strips. Add to boiling soup, cook for 10 min stiring occassionally.

  6. Serve.
