Chicken Dumpling Raviolis Recipe

Dumpling raviolis (basically wontons). Very fast and easy to make. My son loves to eat these and help cook them. The whole recipie can be made by a 6 y/o (excluding the cooking part) with assistance.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken dumpling raviolis

1/2 scallion
6 oz. uncooked ground chicken
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp vegetable oil (sesame oil is good)
1 tsp garlic salt
1 pinch pepper
1/2 large egg white
192 g wonton wrappers (24 3" square wrappers)

Recipe Directions for Chicken dumpling raviolis

  1. Snip green onion into small pieces

  2. Mix green onion, ground meat, soy sauce, oil, garlic salt and pepper in a bowl

  3. Put egg white into a small bowl and beat lightly with a fork

  4. Lay wonton wrapper flat on work table. Place rounded teaspoon of meat into the middle. Brush edges of wrapper with the egg white using a pastry brush.

  5. Place another wrapper over the one with the meat. Press together, gently pressing out large air bubbles. Don't press on the meat as it will push it out the edges. Makes 12-16 raviolis (24-32 wrappers).

  6. Simmer for 10 minutes in a large pot, turning occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon or skimmer. Add a few drops of soy sauce (and optionally sesame oil)
