Chicken and broccoli recipe with rice and cheese. Would be better with more spices.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Divan Recipe

13 ounces broccoli, cooked
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb chicken, cooked
1 cup rice, cooked
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup sour cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken Divan Recipe

  1. Combine chicken, rice, 1/2 of the cheese, and broccoli in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.

  2. Season with salt and pepper, if you wish.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

  4. Blend in flour.

  5. Add milk.

  6. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles.

  7. Remove from heat.

  8. Stir in lemon juice and fold in sour cream.

  9. Pour over chicken.

  10. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  11. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes.
