Layered broccoli, chicken, bread crumbs in a creamy curry sauce, topped with melted cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Divan

20 oz frozen broccoli
1 1/2 lb chicken breasts, cubed
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup miracle whip
1/4 tsp curry powder
1 cup Campbell's Cream of Chicken condensed soup
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tbsp butter or margarine , melted
4 slices white bread

Recipe Directions for Chicken Divan

  1. Cook broccoli and chicken.

  2. Mix lemon juice, miracle whip, curry and soup to make sauce.

  3. Cut the bread slices into 1/2 inch squares to make fresh breadcrumbs.

  4. Layer: broccoli, chicken, sauce, cheese, top with bread crumbs and melted butter (touch butter to each bread crumb with a spoon, or just drizzle on the bread crumbs lightly).

  5. Cook at 350 for 30 minutes.
