Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Curry

1/3 c butter
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1/4 c flour
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp dry ginger
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
2 c chicken broth
1/2 lb shrimp
1/2 lb chicken breast
1 lb turkey

Recipe Directions for Chicken Curry

  1. cook and stir margarine, curry powder, onion and garlic in 3 qt saucepan until onion is transparent. stir in flour, sugar, ginger, mustard, pepper. Stir in chicken broth. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hr.

  2. Add chicken. Heat to boiling: reduce heat. Cover and simmer until chicken is tender 25-30 min.
