Spicy chicken dish. Great served with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Curry

1 lb. chicken breast, cubed
1 T. olive oil
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 green apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
1 T. curry powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. white pepper
15 oz. stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. water

Recipe Directions for Chicken Curry

  1. Saute chicken in olive oil. Remove from pan.

  2. Saute pepper, onion and garlic.

  3. Add apples, raisins and almonds.

  4. Return chicken to the pan

  5. Add spicees, tomatoes and water.

  6. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to blend ingredients.
