Awesome chicken curry. Can be made with shrimp instead; just add pre-cooked shrimp in with the cream.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Curry

12 1/2 oz chicken
1 tbsp butter
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
2 stalks celery
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp curry powder
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 tbsp ketchup or tomato paste
1 apple
1 banana
1/2 cup half and half or whipping cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken Curry

  1. Cook the chicken, set aside.

  2. Melt butter in pan.

  3. Chop celery, onion and garlic and add to pan. Add curry powder.

  4. After everything is slightly browned, add chicken stock and ketchup. Let simmer.

  5. After a few minutes, add apple, banana and cream. Add chicken when serving.

  6. Serve over brown rice.
