Recipe Ingredients for chicken in cream sauce

16 oz chicken breast
15 oz peas
15 oz pearl onions
2 large onions
2 cups carrots
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
3 cups skim milk

Recipe Directions for chicken in cream sauce

  1. steam and dice bonless,skinless chicken breast

  2. steam carrots

  3. saute diced onions in butter untill tender

  4. add milk and bring to a boil

  5. simmer and wisk in flour

  6. stir constantly untill thickened

  7. drain 1/2 of the liquid from the canned peas and canned(jar) pearl onions and add to milk mixture

  8. add carrots, chicken

  9. season with salt and pepper

  10. simmer for 5 more minutes and remove from heat

  11. serve over a bisket or steamed rice
