Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Chow Mein

3 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
1 1/2 cups celery
1 medium onion - chopped
3 cups mushrooms - sliced, fresh
14 1/2 ounces fat free chicken broth
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons corn starch
1/2 cup cold water
8 ounces bean sprouts

Recipe Directions for Chicken Chow Mein

  1. Combine all ingredients except for corn starch, water and bean sprouts. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in bean spouts.

  2. In small bowl combine cold water and cornstarch. Blend until smooth.

  3. Over medium heat, gradually add cornstarch to vegetable mix stirring constantly until thickened.

  4. Once thickened it is ready. Serve over noodles or rice (add calories for added noodles or rice).
