Low fat version of the chinese favorite

Recipe Ingredients for chicken chow mein

8 ounces angel hair pasta
4 ounces green beans, fresh
8 ounces chicken, cooked
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon splenda
2 green onion, shredded (sort of julienned)

Recipe Directions for chicken chow mein

  1. Cook noodles according to directions. Drain and toss with 1 T of the oil.

  2. Slice meat into thin shreds.

  3. Trim green beans and cut into bit size pieces.

  4. in a preheated wok or skillet, add the noodles and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes with 1 T soy sauce. Remove to a serving dish and keep warm.

  5. Then stir-fry beans and meat for about 2 minutes. Add sugar, remaining soy sauce and half of green onions. Blend the meat mixture well and pour on top of noodles. Sprinkle with remaining green onions. Serve hot or cold.
