A dish based loosely on a favourite from our local Chinese restaurant.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken in Chilli & Salt

1 pepper Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 medium Onions
1 oz Chilli
2 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Oil, Vegetable Corn, Salad Or Cooking
2 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
0.5 cup dry Boil-In-Bag Rice
0.25 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Chicken in Chilli & Salt

  1. Begin Boiling the rice.

  2. Chop the vegetables, chicken & chillis, keep separate.

  3. Heat oil in a wok.

  4. Add the chillies & salt for ~15-20 seconds.

  5. Add the chopped chicken breast and allow to brown.

  6. Add the peppers & onions and cook until tender.

  7. Serve on a bed of boiled white rice.
