Needed a quick 300 calorie meal and this is what I had

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Chili

1/2 cup water
15 ounces canned black beans
15 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, diced
12 1/2 ounces chunk chicken breast, canned
1 teaspoon Superior Touch Beef Base
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Coriander Leaf, Dried
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon savory
1/4 teaspoon coriander

Recipe Directions for Chicken Chili

  1. Heat oil over medium heat

  2. Add onion, saute 2 minutes

  3. Add carrots, saute 2 minutes,

  4. Add garlic, saute 1 minute

  5. Add bell pepper, saute 2 minutes

  6. Add tomatoes, water, beef base and all dry ingredients

  7. Cover and simmer 15 minutes

  8. Rinse beans and add to pot

  9. Cover and simmer 15 minutes

  10. Salt to taste, if required
