The recipe was fudged to bump up the calories to a more realistic level -- more like 16 cups broth, simmered down. I don't think the sodium level is that high either -- I'm using home-made broth and I guess I think the high sodium rating is based on using canned broth.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Chili

1 breast, bone and skin removed) Chicken Breast, meat only
24 cup Chicken soup, broth
2 cup Great Northern Beans
1 large Onion
3 clove garlic
2 pepper) pickled Jalepeno chopped

Recipe Directions for Chicken Chili

  1. Boil beans seperately. Poach chicken in broth 30 min, discard skin and bone, and chop.

  2. Add all ingrediants to broth.

  3. Add oregano, cayenne, and cumin in small quantities until it tastes good.
