Chicken Cheese Strata from "Simple & Delicious"

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Cheese Strata

8 oz Bread, French Or Vienna
16 oz Chicken
4 tbsp Butter
3 cup Broccoli
1/2 tsp Onion Salt
1/2 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
1/2 tsp Rosemary, Dried
1 dash Pepper, Black
2 medium Egg, Whole
3/4 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
0.67 cup Cream of Onion Soup
4 oz Colby

Recipe Directions for Chicken Cheese Strata

Split one loaf of French bread in half lengthwise; cube the top and set aside. In 10-inch, ovenproof skillet, saute chicken in 2 T butter until no longer pink. Add the broccoli, onion salt, thyme, rosemary, and pepper; heat through. Remove from skillet and keep warm. In the same skillet, toast bread cubes in remaining butter until lightly browned. In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, mile, and soup; pour over bread cubes. Stir in chicken mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
