Open-faced chicken cheese steaks. Probably better than Philly.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Cheese Steaks

1 1/2 green peppers
1 yellow onion
6 ounces velveeta
3 3/5 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
4 kaiser rolls
22 ounces chicken breast, skinless, boneless

Recipe Directions for Chicken Cheese Steaks

  1. Dice 1 1/2 green peppers and 1 medium yellow onion.

  2. Stir-fry peppers and onions in a tbsp of olive oil on medium heat. While stirfrying, chop 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1/2 ince cubes.

  3. After 5 minutes of stir frying, throw chicken chunks in pan with vegetables. Cook for about another 5-10 minutes. Add some garlic powder and maybe some hot sauce (to taste).

  4. After cooking, reduce heat (or turn off heat). Apply chunks of velveeta, evenly distributed, to the top of the mixture. Add the shredded cheese on top of that. Let sit. Don't stir.

  5. Broil a roll, open face.

  6. Apply 1 serving over the top of the toasted, open-faced roll. Sprinkel parsly flakes on top if you're feeling froggy.
