Recipe Ingredients for Chicken with Cheese Sauce

1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.13 tbsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.125 dash Pepper, Black
4 Serving Chicken
1 serving Butter Flavored Cooking Spray
0.5 tbsp Light Soft Spread
0.125 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
0.125 oz Cornstarch
2.5 oz Cheese 2% Milk
16 oz Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin, Baked
1.5 cup Cauliflower
1.5 cup, chopped Broccoli

Recipe Directions for Chicken with Cheese Sauce

  1. Pre boil potaoes and steam vegetables

  2. Pre-heat oven to 325

  3. In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper and mix thoroughly, Rinse Chicken and pat dry. Coat with flour mixture.

  4. Liberally coat a larde ninstik skillet with cooking spray, add margarine, and place over medium-high heat until bubbly, Stir to coat bottom of skillet. Add Chicken, cook for 3 minutes. turn and cook for another 3 minutes longer.

  5. Transfer chicken inot an 8x12 glass baking dish, sprinkle with 1/8 tsp salt, and back for 10 minutes, uncovered.

  6. While chicken is cooking, combine milk and cornstartch in a small bowl and stir until conrstarch is dissolved. Pour into skillet over medium heat, stiring with a spatula, and cook unti thickened. Add cheese and remaining 1/4 tsp salt. Stir until cheese melts. Remove from heat. Arrange potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli around chicken and pour suace over all. Sprinkle with paprika and bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
