Cheesey chicken and rice casserole. Many variations can be made to taste :)

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Cheese Casserole

1 cup chopped chicken
2 cups instant rice
4 ounces of colby cheese
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp Season Salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Chicken Cheese Casserole

  1. Cook chicken at 350 degrees after lightly seasoning chicken to taste. I like to use season salt and garlic powder - these seasonings are not necessary.

  2. Cook 2 cups instant rice according to directions.

  3. Cut up cheese into cubes. I like colby, but cheddar or other cheeses could be used (other cheeses may want to be tested before mass cookings :)

  4. Chicken should be cooked through, but can be slightly pink as it will cook for half an hour yet. Cut up chicken into small bite size pieces.

  5. Mix rice, chicken, cheese and cream of mushroom soup in a cake pan and bake at 350 for *about* 30 minutes. *Note* Cream of mushroom soup should be added straight from the can. Do NOT prepare the soup as if you were to eat it.

  6. Take out of the oven, cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
