easy chicken casserole...but not so healthy

Recipe Ingredients for chicken casserole

1 lb chicken breast, roasted
2 cans cream of chicken soup (plus one can of water)
8 oz of frozen vegetables, mixed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 lb penne, cooked
2 cups bread crumbs
1 medium onion
4 tbs butter

Recipe Directions for chicken casserole

  1. heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. combine chicken, soup, water, veggies, 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, and penne in lasagna pan

  3. add remaining cheese on top

  4. melt butter in a pan, saute onions until transparent

  5. add bread crumbs to onions and mix well

  6. place crumbs on top of noodle mix

  7. cover pan with foil

  8. cook in oven until done, approx. 1 hr
