Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Casserole

5 4/5 ounces diced celery
2 1/2 ounces portabello mushroom
6 3/10 ounces diced chicken
1 3/4 ounces skim milk
2 tbl flour
2 tbl butter
2 4/5 ounces spinach
4 2/5 ounces peas
3/4 cup wild rice

Recipe Directions for Chicken Casserole

  1. add celery and rice to 0 calorie vegetable broth

  2. cook rice for 30 minutes

  3. add peas to rice mixture

  4. cook for another 10 minutes

  5. mix flour and butter

  6. make into paste

  7. add portabello mushrooms

  8. add chicken

  9. add milk

  10. simmer in frying pan until thick

  11. place spinach on bottom of casserole dish

  12. mix rice and sauce

  13. add to casserole dish

  14. bake for 20 minutes
