A simple chicken dish that can be made in a snap.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Cacciatore

2 cups chicken breast
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup dried onion
2 cloves garlic
16 oz canned tomato sauce
16 oz canned diced tomato
1 1/2 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
6 g bay leaves

Recipe Directions for Chicken Cacciatore

  1. Slice chicken into strips. Pour oil into large skillet, cook chicken in oil until juices run clear.

  2. Put remaining ingredients into a medium saucepan, cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. When chicken is cooked through add to sauce.

  3. 6 g of bay leaves is 3 leaves.

  4. Serve over rice.
