Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Cacciatore

4 tbsp Olive Oil
14 oz (raw) Chicken
1 cup, chopped Onions
4 clove Garlic
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
2 cup Tomatoes Whole No Salt Added
0.5 can (6 oz) Tomato Products
3 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
3 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
1 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1 tsp Allspice, Ground
0.5 full glass (6.0 fl oz) Wine, Table, Red
2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
3 cup Spaghetti

Recipe Directions for Chicken Cacciatore

Brown the chicken chopped into large pieces in the olive oil in a dutch overn. Remove chicken, add onion and saute, then add minced garlic, pepper, spices, simmer, add 3 oz red table wine. Add 1/2 can of tomato paste and half can of water, stir, add quart of whole tomatoes and stir. Simmer for 45 minutes. In the meantime cook about 4 oz spaghetti - enough to make 3 cups cookec spaghetti. Drain spaghetti, Serve chicken and sauce over spaghetti.
