Makes 4 servings



Great on their own or on onion rolls. Good with grilled green onions. Can also be made with ground turkey. You can substitute boursin or other herb cheese for the cream cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Burgers

1 pounds ground chicken
1 slice bread, low carb
3/4 cup onion
2/3 cup parsley
1 egg
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
4 tablespoons cream cheese, light

Recipe Directions for Chicken Burgers

  1. Toast bread and blend in blender.

  2. Chop onion, parsley, egg, thyme and cumin in blender with bread.

  3. Combine the above with chicken mixture. Divide into 8 portions.

  4. Place 1 tablespoon of herb cheese in middle.

  5. Flatten cheese slightly. Place 4 remaining patties on top and press edges to seal.

  6. Barbeque or grill 6 minutes per side.

  7. Enjoy with grilled green onions.
