Chicken burgers with cheese and tomato on a whole wheat bun.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Burgers

1 pound chicken breasts
2 cups Panko
1/2 cup skim milk
3 tablespoons grated sweet onion
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
3 whole wheat hamburger buns
3 slices monterey jack cheese
3 slices tomato

Recipe Directions for Chicken Burgers

Ground or process the chicken, mix all ingredients (except 1 1/2 cups Panko, buns, cheese, and tomato) together in a bowl. Form into patties (will be quite loose) and cover in remaining Panko. Heat oil in non-stick skillet over medium heat and fry until golden and cooked through -- about 5 minutes per side.
