A wonderfully savory dish with a new grain

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Bulgur Skillet

1 lb chicken breast
2 tsp olive oil
2/3 cup onion, chopped
3 tbs walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1/4 tsp cumin, ground
1 1/2 cups bulgur wheat
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Chicken Bulgur Skillet

  1. Cook Chicken with olive oil

  2. Remove chicken and keep warm.

  3. In the same pan, saute walnuts, cumin, caraway and onions until onions brown slightly

  4. Add Bulgur wheat

  5. Add chicken and chicken broth

  6. Cook 15 min or until bulgur is tender
