Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Brown Rice Soup, 1/3 c. rice

1/3 cup brown rice, raw
1 1/2 cups stock
1 cup water
1/2 cup mixed vegetable
1/2 cup chicken breast, chopped

Recipe Directions for Chicken Brown Rice Soup, 1/3 c. rice

Bring chicken stock and water to a boil for at least two minutes. Add brown rice, turn down to a low simmer; cover. Let simmer for one hour. Add vegetables and cooked chicken in the last five minutes, just to warm through.
