Mom's recipe for chinese stir-fry chicken & broccoli w/ tofu

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Broccoli w/ Tofu

1 3/4 oz soft tofu, fried
1/2 (2 oz) chicken breast
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp sesame oil
1 1/2 tsp corn starch
1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil
1 oz broccoli
1 tbs oyster sauce
3/20 tsp soy sauce
1/4 oz garlic, chopped

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Broccoli w/ Tofu

  1. cut chicken into slices and place in bowl

  2. add 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp sugar

  3. add 2 drops of sesame oil

  4. add 1/2 tsp corn starch

  5. mix together with hands

  6. add 1/2 tsp vegetable oil, mix again, & put aside for 30 minutes

  7. slice tofu into 4 pieces

  8. fry until golden brown and put aside

  9. cut broccoli and boil water

  10. drain broccoli

  11. add 1/2 tsp oil in wock when hot

  12. stir fry broccoli and put aside

  13. add 1/2 tsp vegetable oil in to wok and add chopped garlic

  14. after garlic browns, add chicken until cooked

  15. add 1 tbs of oyster sauce and 1/2 tsp sugar

  16. add broccoli

  17. in another bowl: mix 1 tsp corn starch, 2 tbs water, 1 drop of soy sauce and 1 drop of sesame oil

  18. pour sauce into wok and stir fry
