Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & broccoli Stir fry

1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
3 cups broccoli, chopped
1 medium onion, wedged
1 medium green pepper, sliced
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 tsp ginger root, peeled and chopped
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Chicken & broccoli Stir fry

  1. whisk soy sauce, flour, and 1 tbsp oil

  2. cut chicken in 1/4 inch strips

  3. add chicken to soy sauce mixture

  4. toss to coat

  5. cover and refrigerate 15 minutes to marinat

  6. cut broccoli into flowerets and onion into thin wedges

  7. cut pepper into thin strips

  8. press garlic

  9. chop ginger root

  10. heat 1 tsp of remaining oil and add chicken, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes

  11. stir fry until no longer pink

  12. remove from skillet

  13. heat remaining 1 tsp of oil in same skillet

  14. Add broccoli, onion, and pepper

  15. stir fry until vegetables are crisp-tender

  16. return chicken to skillet

  17. serve over rice
