chicken pices and broccoli in a light sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for chicken and broccoli

514 g chicken breast
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
2 t olive oil
3 cloves garlic, sliced
6 oz. chicken broth
3 oz Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat - With Added Vitamin A
1 t cornstarch
190 g broccoli, cut into small pieces

Recipe Directions for chicken and broccoli

  1. cut chicken breat tenters into bite sized pieces. In a med. bowl add next 6 ingredients and toss well to mix. cook seasoned chicken pieces in a large skillet over med to med/high heat until chicken is browed and cooked through.

  2. remove chiken from skillet and deglaze pan with the chicken broth. Add cornstarch to the milk and add milk mixture to the simmering broth. thicken to form a sauce.

  3. return chicken to the pan and toss to coat with sauce. Add broccoli and cover. cook over low heat until broccoli is tender/crisp.

  4. serve over pasta.
