Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Breast with Sage and Nutmeg

16 oz. Chicken Breasts, meat only
2 tbs Flour
2 tbs Fresh Sage, finely chopped
1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1/8 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 tbs Olive Oil
1/4 cup Dry White Wine
1 medium Sweet Red Pepper, in julienne strips

Recipe Directions for Chicken Breast with Sage and Nutmeg

  1. Trim Fat From Chicken.

  2. Combine Flour, Sage, Nutmeg, Salt & Pepper.

  3. Dredge Chicken in This Mixture & Set Aside.

  4. Heat Oil in Large Skillet Over Medium-High Heat Until Hot.

  5. Add Chicken; Cook 6 To 7 Min. On Each Side OR Until Browned.

  6. Add Vermouth & Bell Pepper.

  7. Reduce Heat & Simmer 5 Min. OR Until Chicken Is Tender.

  8. Transfer Chicken To Platter; Spoon Sauce Over Chicken & Garnish With Sage Sprigs.
