a delicious version of sautéed chicken has a wonderful piquant sauce made with rich brown stock, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and garlic.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken breast with balsamic vinegar & garlic

600 grams chicken breast
20 grams Butter
1 tbsp olive oil
30 grams cloves garlic
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp thyme

Recipe Directions for Chicken breast with balsamic vinegar & garlic

  1. Trim the chicken breast of any sinew and excess fat

  2. In a heavy bottom pan, heat the butter and olive oil.

  3. Add the garlic cloves and sauté till golden brown

  4. Lightly season the chicken breasts on both sides and then put them down in the pan and cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

  5. Turn them over and cook for 5 minutes or until just done.

  6. they should feel springy to the touch. Leave then in the pan.

  7. Add the balsamic vinegar, chicken stock garlic and herbs to the pan.

  8. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 2 - 3 minutes until reduced and slightly syruppy.

  9. Season with salt and pepper

  10. Serve immediately with the sauce and the whole garlic cloves.
