Chicken Bolognese Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken bolognese

2 tsp olive oil
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 carrot (finely chopped)
2 tsp basil
400 grams canned tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
500 grams chicken (minced)
2 tbsp tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Chicken bolognese

  1. In 1 tsp of olive oil fry chicken mince. Once cooked, set to the side.

  2. In second tsp oil lightly fry onions until translucent.

  3. Add carrot & fry another minute

  4. Add garlic & fry another minute

  5. Add basil & fry another 1/2 minute

  6. Add tomatoes and cook on moderate heat for 5-10 minutes.

  7. Add sugar, stir through for 1 minute.

  8. Add cooked chicken mince.

  9. Stir through tomato paste.

  10. Cook for another few minutes before serving.
