Baked chicken, vegetables topped with biscuits

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Biscuits

1 med onion
2 tsp canola oil
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 cup 2% milk
1 tbls Worcestershire sauce
16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups cooked chicken

Biscuits:
1 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup 2% milk
1 tbls dried parsley
2 tbls shredded parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Biscuits

  1. In large saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in flour basil, thyme and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Bring to a boil: cook and stir for 2 binutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to low; Stir in vegetables, and chicken.

  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowel mix Bisquick and milk with cheese and parsley.

  3. Transfer the hot chicken mixture to a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish. Drop the batter by rounded tbls onto the chicken mixture. Bake uncovered, at 375 for 30-40 minutes or until biscuits are lightly browned.
